Themes - DEP

DEP organises content related to disability inclusive development according to 'Themes' which are adapted from WHO's community-based rehabilitation (CBR) matrix components.

We are continually working on introducing new content related to and inclusive of relevant components within the field of disability inclusive development, but at the moment DEP currently hosts evidence briefs, questions and resources for the following themes.

Health

A series of evidence briefs that synthesise what is known about the challenges, opportunities, best-practices and recommendations specific to the health needs of people with disabilities

Education

A series of evidence briefs that synthesise what is known about the challenges, opportunities, best-practices and recommendations specific to the educational needs of people with disabilities

Stigma

A series of evidence briefs that synthesise what is known about the challenges, opportunities, best-practices and recommendations for addressing stigma towards people with disabilities

Livelihood & Social Protection

A series of evidence briefs that synthesise what is known about the challenges, opportunities, best-practices and recommendations specific to inclusive livelihood and social protection approaches for people with disabilities

COVID-19

A series of evidence briefs that synthesise what is known about the challenges, opportunities, best-practices and recommendations specific to the needs of people with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic

Cross-cutting

A series of evidence briefs that synthesise evidence on the challenges, opportunities, best-practices and recommendations to address the needs of people with disabilities across multiple themes
